Roles and Responsibilities:
Support team to successfully deliver the goals for schedule, budget, product cost, product quality, and production ramp rate on your assigned program
Ensure each member of your staff both understands and follows the required product development processes. Identify and drive improvements in the development process that facilitates quality, schedule, or cost improvements
Develop approved resource plans, and aggressively staff the organization. In a proactive manner, continually reassess resource plans based on changing business conditions
Effective management and development of subordinates to include holding one-on-one meetings with all employees on a weekly basis, holding bi-weekly staff meetings, holding quarterly off-sites, creating performance and development plans on an annual basis and performance reviews on a quarterly and annual basis
Ensures team has access to state-of-the-art tools as necessary to successfully execute their development projects
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable relevant work experience in lieu of education required.
PC/Server industry background experience highly preferred
Approximately 12-15 total years in IT product development
Approximately 3-5 total years people management experience preferred
